Rev. T.R. Precht
At the beginning of the ninth grade one of my best friends invited me to a little white church on a one-way street to hear him preach. I tentatively accepted the invitation wanting to see what could change my friend from being the type of person we both were, to being a preacher. After that service I knew that there was something about this church that I needed to discover more about, so I continued to visit.
Several months later, at the age of fourteen years old, I made the best choice he could ever make. On February 26, 1997, I felt God pulling at my heart and through godly sorrow I repented of all my sins and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission or removal of those sins. That night I spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance, showing that I had received the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost.
Some time later I felt a tug in my heart about servant-hood and the ministry. I began to serve the church in any manner that our Pastor would ask of me. First it started out in working as a helper in the bus ministry. It would slowly continue on to reading opening scriptures, leading song service, substitute Sunday School teaching, media ministries, jail & hospital visiting, outreach team, sign language ministry, home bible studies, youth ministry and eventually I was blessed and accepted the call to preach the Gospel.
On December 6, 2004, the Lord blessed me by allowing me to marry the most wonderful woman in the Body of Christ, my sweetheart, Roxanna Jean. After ten wonderful years of marriage, the Lord has blessed us with our son Yonatan Asher. Currently we are serving faithfully at our local church Lighthouse Ministries in Bellevue, Kentucky, under the ministry of Pastor Samuel Diedenhofer.
